multiSONIK® generator

Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics family of Multiple Frequency Ultrasonic Generators are state-of-the-art in ultrasonic parts cleaning technology. They are advanced, digital ultrasonic generators that provide the ability to select and program single or multiple frequencies in a single process tank.

The multiSONIK® 3 generator, featuring Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics’ dualSWEEP® and upSWEEP® technology, can operate at frequencies of 40, 72, and 104 kHz.

The multiSONIK®2 generator, featuring Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics’ dualSWEEP® and upSWEEP® technology, can operate at frequencies of 40, 80, 120, 140, 170, 220 and 270 kHz.

This advanced technology facilitates sub-micron particle removal in the critical cleaning of microelectronics, flat panel displays, disk drive components and assemblies, optics, semiconductors, medical devices and more. The multiSONIK® technology permits the exposure of components to a selectable or continually changing array of application-specific ultrasonic cleaning frequencies from a single generator to optimize precision cleaning.

The new MultiSONIK 7.2 retains the same wide frequency range—40, 80, 120, 140, 170, 220, and 270 kHz—while delivering enhanced performance in a compact footprint. Unlike the previous 7.0 version, which required multiple chassis to reach maximum output, the new 7.2 delivers up to 1040 watts in a single chassis, representing a significant leap forward in both design and capability.

Key Enhancements of the MultiSONIK® 7.2:

  • Higher Output in a Smaller Package: Capable of 1040 watts in one chassis compared to the older 960-watt, three-chassis configuration.
  • 60% Smaller Footprint: Saves valuable production floor space.
  • Electronically Auto-Tuning: Constantly adjusts to process changes for optimal cleaning performance.
  • Integrated HMI: Single-tank systems can be programmed directly, while multi-tank systems remain compatible with customer-supplied controls.
  • Reliable Power Delivery: Input voltage 200–240V, single phase, 50/60 Hz.

The new MultiSONIK 7.2 replaces the long-serving 7.0 version, which has now been rendered obsolete due to discontinued components. Customers can transition seamlessly to the updated model with confidence in its reliability and future support.
